1)Na thyajeth dharma maryaadam api klesha dasaam shritha:=Even in the greatest adversity one should not abandon the norms of righteousness.
2)Eershyaa kalahamoolam syaath:kshamaa moolam hi sampadaam= Hatred brings in conflicts while patience brings in riches.
3)Na sathya vratha bhangena kaaryam dheemaan prasaadhayet= The wise shall not deviate from the vow of truthfulness, for temporary gains.
4)Kurveetha sangatham sadbhi:na asadbhi: gunvarjithai:=Keep company with vrtuous people only: never go to the compay of the vice,who are devoid of all good qualities.
5)Maatharam Pitharam bhakthyaa thoshayenna prakopayeth= Be respectful towards mother and father and keep them always happy; never give them irritation.
6) Daane sathwanidhi: kuryaath na prathyupakrthi sprhaam =Gifts should be given with a pure heart and should never be with the desire for reciprocation.
7)Dambhaarambhothatham dharmam naacharedantha nishphalam=Duty performed with arrogance and ego will be a fruitless action.
8) Na swayam sthuthi padai:glaanim gunaganam nayeth.=Never boast yourself; because that will mar your image and destroy the good qualities in you.
9)Pareshaam kleshadam kuryaannapaisunyam probho:priyam=Do not try to find favour with your employer or master by speaking ill of others, and causing harm to them
10)Kshipedvaakyashraan theekshnaan na paarushyahyupapluthaan= Do not use wordy arrows against others, because they will ultimately rebound and destroy yourself.
11)Na madyavyasaneeksheeba:kuryaad vethaala cheshtitham= Do not behave like a monster under the influence of liquer.
12)Na Asvevya sevayaa dadyaath daivaadheene dhane dhiyam=Wealth is a gift of God;to gain wealth, do not serve those who are unworthy of service.
13)Kuryaanneechjanaabhyasthaam na yaachjnaam maana haarineem=Never ask for help from wicked men, as it will result in disgrace to you.
14)Na vivaada madaandha:syaanna pareshaamamarshana:=Never involve yourself in any argument to the extent of becoming blind by arrogance and casting aspersions on the opponent .
15)Theevrena thapasi leenaanaam Indriyaanaam na vishvaseth.=Even those who practice severe austerities shall not believe their sense organs.(Sense organs shall be kept under control vigilantly)
16)Na kuryaad viyoga dukheshu dhairyamuthsrjya deenathaam=Never lose courage on account of the grief at the passing away of dear and dear ones.
17) Prabhu prasaade no dadyaath swavinaashayaaspade chathim= Never exploit the good-will of the Lord, as it will lead to one's own destruction.
18) Na puthraayththamaiswaryam kaaryam aaryai: kadaachana= A wise man shall not , during his life-time, bequeath all his wealth to his children.
19)Roopaartha kula vidyaaduheenam nopahasennaram= Never insult any one on account of his not having beauty, family status, education and the like.
20) Sriya: kuryaapthalaayinyaa bandhaaya guna samgraham=The Goddess of wealth can be tied down only with the rope of good qualities in you.
21)Jaraa shubhreshu kesheshu thapovana ruchir bhaveth= When wrinkles appear on your skin , and hairs become white,(when you reach old age) you should evince interest in going to the forest and performing penances. (Thapas)
22) Anthe santhoshadam vishnum smareth hanthaaram aapadaam=At the end of life, one should always think of Vishnu , who is the giver of happiness and the destroyer of dangers.
